Paint spider webbing
Hey guys, I just noticed this the other day. On my rear bumper near the driversside exhaust tip, I noticed the paint starting to spider web on me. It feels rough so the cracks i'm assuming go through the paint. There are no signs that anything hit it, and to my knowledge nothing has hit that area. I'm going to go try to get it covered under warranty. Do you guys think I'll have any chance? I got the Z brand new in March and it has 7800 miles.

Gonna be hard to prove you or someone else did not hit it. Sounds like an insurance issue.

It really depends on what it looks like. My car was repainted under warranty for orange peel on the quarter panels and spider web cracking near the exhaust, and Nissan gave me almost no grief. They probably have encountered something similar before, so it is worth an ask.
If you can, you should post up a pic so we can see what it looks like. Curious if it looks like mine did. |
It isn't too bad yet, I'll have a couple pics up in a minute.

did the car kicked up something on the road, hit the inner-side of bumper pushing it out, causing the crack...(?)
