Thx guys for the tips as I was also looking to go the inexpensive route and tint or purchase the overlays from batmobile. Guess I will save for the headlamp housing paint.

OT: any issues with the rear tail lights with overlay or tint?

Tails are fine.

What would you guys suggest to use to blacken the housing? Plastidip? Spraypaint? Carpaint? It seems that the plastidip wouldnt be able to withstand the heat that is generated within the headlight..

Krylon: Products: Fusion for Plastic

WOW. I really wanted mine done, but now I don't know... I wanted a darker look without losing in functionallity so I didn't think tinting was an option. Plus, Texas troopers don't take kindly to those kind of mods.
