Looking forward to this as well as a replacement for my DD (not a replacement for the Z). The overlay picture someone posted earlier is rather misleading as the roof of the FR-S is supposed to be a couple of inches lower than the Z.

Yea, just wanted to reinforce the point about a low center of gravity. I didn't mean to imply that Nick's overlay post was intentionally misleading just that it doesn't really give a good idea of the car's proportions.

I remember reading and this car possibly being a 4 cylinder turbo... HP wasnt really discussed but it seemed like it would make a decent mark on the sports car class....
Now i just read that Subaru and Toyota-Scion plan on only coming out with a 4 cylinder NON turbo model to start.... So it will basically be a RWD TC/Celica then... I was really liking the idea of bringing the Trueno 8-6 (aka FT86) to the states in a nice new model... I could feel like Tak on Initial D! haha
