Rear Wheel Noise Reduction?

I was under the impression that the spary-on material in the fender wells and under the body was only for rock/weather/elements protection only. I don't think it is intended for

I don't think it is intended for sound..

If you really want to reduce your noise, switch to a lower tread wear rated tire.
