ShineAuto Project-is this company a joke??

problem solved :)

Ken the owner at shine Auto Doesnt come in until After 2pm pacific standard time.
Call the shop 909-980-3433. He always takes care of the issues.

phunk 08-29-2011 05:54 PM

why would you order something just to return it the next day?

Apoc370z 08-29-2011 06:27 PM

It takes time to proccess the RMAs, and most company will have to find out what the problem is before they issue the refund. Not to mention the transaction itself might take a day or two, not counting the weekends. I say give it a day or two.

Sometimes, you order it and if you don't like it, you return it the next day, simple. I'm not the person who holds the product for long a$$ time and think "should I return it or not" no. if I don't like it, I return it right away

Thanks for the info bro :)

I was mad because they haven't reply me for forever. If they replied me once saying "don't worry, your thing is being processed" I wouldn't be this mad.

yep, same here. i know the second i see the product if it's par or subpar or something that wont work for me.

rather than holding onto it, i ship it back asap as courtesy to the shop for them to have the opportunity to get it back in new condition and sell it again.

batboyvaj 08-30-2011 01:10 PM

Was the shine kit bad quality or something? Or just didn't like the look?

Shine auto have very nice products with great quality.

The CF amuse that we offer is made by them.. I vouch for them

tonybui 08-30-2011 06:03 PM

They make great product but their customer service (I can only say service over email sucks) they wouldn't reply me for months

definitionxmk 08-30-2011 06:37 PM

I just call them and leave a message... Ken calls me back to verify everything in a timely matter. I've been shopping with him for YEARS and never had an issue. Plus I usually don't return things like our female counterparts do =P

phunk 08-30-2011 06:41 PM

i just dont order something if i dont like it.

if i were in their shoes, and there was nothing wrong with the products quality, and you simply just changed your mind.. i would definitely charge a restocking fee and you would have to cover shipping both ways. unless like i said, you had a legitmate complaint about the quality of the item not being what was implied... then I would do a full refund.

wow.. sounds like a personal problem. shineauto has always come through for me. top notch service, top quality product everytime. maybe you should do more research on a product before you order it and decide that you don't like it shortly thereafter. if you don't have a valid issue or complaint about the item then you should have to pay shipping both ways and a hefty restocking fee just for being a moron :tiphat:

I ordered the rear addons as well from them about a month ago. I ordered it on a fri. and waited about 9 business days and decided to call and find out what the status was on them. They picked up the first time calling and due to my personal issue with my paypal account and the email address, I never recieved an invoice. When i talked to them they forwarded the invoice to another email after about 5 mins from hanging up with them. And 2 days later they showed up.

As far as quality goes, for mine personally, the two screw holes that are on the inside of the fenders didnt quite match up. I just used the top hole then drilled a little bit out of the bottom one to make it sit flush, not a big problem. Then I also had to sand down the curve where it meets the rear bumper, cause i wasnt to happy with the gaps, but now it sits tight to the bumper, Then took it to a local body shop and had it color matched. All in all I absolutely love the way it turned out and with the combination of the evo-r fog light, I cant just help :yum: everytime I look at it. Now I just need to get my FI exhaust and then it will be complete

wth r u talking about -_-;; personal problem? no...I love ShineAuto too but it's just pissing me off because they still haven't reply me back yet. I'm the customer and it is my money. I did research and everything before I bought them. I just didn't like it because feeling of the look in the pictures and seeing it in real life is totally different. Some people may like it but I didn't like it, it was just my personal thought. And maybe you were lucky that you had top notch service, but not me. Calling me a moron doesn't make your beloving friend "ShineAuto" looks better :tiphat:

their products speak for themselves, and your ignorance speaks for itself. no harm intended, but you are a customer I would rather not have.
;)
good luck with your issue, I hope it gets resolved in a timely and professional manner.

phunk 08-31-2011 01:13 PM

i wouldnt go as far as name calling, but this definitely is not an industry where "try it and return it" is accepted. unless i missed shineautos info-mercial where they offer you a full refund if you dont like it lol.

maybe they didnt refund you because they found nothing wrong with it and shipped it straight back to you?

kenchan 08-31-2011 02:09 PM

you mean walmart? :icon17: hahaha.

yah, i personally would not want to buy something that was pre-opened by another customer. but if there's something wrong with the part i will be expecting a full refund.

i too think restocking charge is fair if there's nothing wrong with the product and one simply returned it due to watever reasons.

dudesky 08-31-2011 03:10 PM

Guys, lol I already emailed them before I return it saying "I want to return for the full refund" and they said "yes, it will be 100% refunded" and "send it back to their industry". That's why I returned it. Do you guys really think I just returned it without notifying them and complaining about the refund? No.

dudesky 08-31-2011 05:48 PM

I got my refund guys. problem solved :)
