Go to Harbor Freight, get some cheap body panel tools. Use the to pop the trim piece from off of the lift gate. It's held on my clips. Don't try

Go to Harbor Freight, get some cheap body panel tools. Use the to pop the trim piece from off of the lift gate. It's held on my clips. Don't try to get the piece off all at once. Just work your way across popping out all of the clips.
Once you get the trim piece off, then you'll see the holes to get to the spoiler bolts. This picture shows the inside of the trim piece. The little "horseshoe" areas are where the clips are. Ignore the oval, that is from a DIY that I did on something else.  ]
