is there any way to make a half *** wind test? put some of those sticky yellow wind dirction things behind teh vents and run a high powered fan at the front of the car to see if air actually leaves that area.

uhmm that wouldnt work. The hood has two vents dead center in the hood. There is a huge difference in air flow from having no vents to having vents. Putting a high powered fan and some tape on the vents is not the same as turning on the car and driving it and seeing air coming from the two vents.

I'd like to see a picture of that.

as stated, just slapping holes on a hood doesnt mean its helping pull hot air out.

I think part of the issue (at least for me) is that I would like to see the type 2 and then make my decision between 1 or 2.

Sure.. I guess having a closed hood to a open hood won't benefit the car at all.

Yes Yes lets "Ghetto wind test products" lol

I think you should make the hood. Type two with GTR vents? let me guess wanna wind test that to? lol I think its to many vents if u do the GTR vents. How about 2 vents on each side.

Same for me too. Would be it possible to provide a sketch drawing? Something to just give us an idea what Type 2 would look like.
