Default Plastic fang area coverings

Sorry if this has been asked before as i have used the search function but didnt find anything. Noticed that there is some plastic coverings in the fang area, was just wondering if those area removable as i was thinking about trying to remove them to let some more air into the radiator area. Thanks in advance
