Have anyone tried DECALFX?
I was thinking getting some of these blue CF vinyl and wrap parts of my interior. Just wondering if anyone experience w them? really wanted to see the blue in person and how close is the color to our MB Z..

no experience with them but a while ago my wife bought me a non-adhesive sheet of vinyl CF with high gloss... while it looks like CF from a few feet away when looked at close up (i mean as a detailer i look at it very close) it looks like a sheet of glossy rubber. ... kinda reminded me of those checkered stools at old-fashioned burger joints.
see if they can send you a sample in a 1x1ft size and verify before you buy a large sheet. you might be better off with the new 3M sheet that is a little glossier than DiNoc. DiNoc looks pretty fake too if you look at it closely imho but for interior bits it looks 100x better than the bland stock black trims. |
