thanks to everyone for all the input, I wish someone would just pony up and start producing a legit harness bar (that isn't like 900 bucks) it would give my car a much better feel on autox weekends

Honestly, you already dropped a lot of $$$ on this. The Amuse bar should be more than enough. What $1000 gonna spurn ya for options and safety? :stirthepot:

Isn't there an issue with belt angle with that bar?

That was because of the single harness made for RHD and then you flipped it for LHD, but Amuse has produced a dual one so you do not have to flip it.

ahhhh Interesting. I didn't catch that.

ugh I don't want to spring for the amuse bar, but it seems to be the only "already produced" option thus far..

And thats a fact...why? because i have the dam RHD one lol. But... doesn't matter now that i have a cage and ive always loved shiny things!

The thing is, the Amuse bar isnt all that special inside either, but it would do the job. The issue is at the ends where it mounts to the car. I just dont think its secure enough for high load like you would get in a crash.

I know pics dont help...but....haha
