Evo-r fang cover with chin spoiler. Will it fit?
I've found a gazillion threads and some pictures that really haven't answered the question that I have.
I just got an Evo-r CF fang cover and tried to do a quickie test fit, but doinked into the chin spoiler. For those of you that have both, what did you do to make the fang cover fit properly? I saw one thread that the poster said they trimmed the CF, but with no pictures. I was thinking about pulling off the chin spoiler, installing the fang cover, then reinstalling the spoiler on top of the fang cover. Input by those who have both pieces is appreciated. Tanks! |

Cutting is easier than installing the chin spoiler again. It's quick and easy if you have a dremel.

just cut it. you will need to use a dremel with metal cutter bit.
use a large file to smooth out, use black enamel paint to seal along the edge to prevent exposure to moisture. |
