So I heard about this thing from other forums and from some members on this site. I thought I'd give it a try to see what the praise was. It's true, this thing is freaking awesome. It's very durable and can withstand the abuse of being on a car. It's also easy to remove if you don't want it anymore. I bought 4 cans from Home Depot for about $6 a can.
I took baby steps and blacked out my emblems with Plasti Dip. Clean and tape off the area. ![]() ![]() ![]() I applied 4 coats after 10-15 minute intervals. Finished product. ![]() ![]() ![]() Video: Plasti Dipped my gold wheels. ![]() ![]() ![]() 6 Months Later.. Walkaround Last edited by TongMan; 01-27-2013 at 04:48 AM. Reason: 6 months update video |

So you just sprayed all around your emblem and removed it after it dried?

Home Depot. Lowes. They carry them. It comes in all sorts of colors, but you'd have to order if you want another color other than black. Last edited by TongMan; 08-06-2011 at 11:27 PM. |
