This Plasti Dip product is Awesome!
So I heard about this thing from other forums and from some members on this site. I thought I'd give it a try to see what the praise was. It's true, this thing is freaking awesome. It's very durable and can withstand the abuse of being on a car. It's also easy to remove if you don't want it anymore. I bought 4 cans from Home Depot for about $6 a can.
I took baby steps and blacked out my emblems with Plasti Dip. Clean and tape off the area. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...z/DSC00669.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...z/DSC00668.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...z/DSC00676.jpg I applied 4 coats after 10-15 minute intervals. Finished product. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...z/DSC00683.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...z/DSC00674.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...z/DSC00684.jpg Video: Plasti Dipped my gold wheels. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...z/DSC00886.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...z/DSC00887.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...z/DSC00884.jpg 6 Months Later.. Looks fantastic. I know I could google it but is there a particular place everyone is buying the plasti-dip?
|
So you just sprayed all around your emblem and removed it after it dried?
