Off topic, I think I'm going to sharpie artwork on my mirror caps, or find someone more talented than me to do it, then put a clear bra over the mirror covers to keep it, just like that sharpie Lamborghini.

Finally, wait till your car is 100% cool before you do this. The first time I did this I did it right after i parked. The plastidip bubbled and I had to redo it. |

You can either do 1 big coat (which i wouldnt recommend)
Or You can spray 4-5 coats and wait a couple minutes in between. Then, when you are ready to peel, respray the entire area that you want the straight line and make sure the dip gets wet again...then pull. That way you get 4-5 solid layers, the straight line, and never bubbles.

You need to do a LOT of coats of the leading edge of the handle where you put most of the pressure By a lot I mean 5+ if you DD your car and want it to stay looking good for more than a month |

If you DD your car, you will want to spray in inside of the handle where your fingers go a little heavier then the others. Plus you cant see inside when the handles closed. The more the merrier inside...

I tried the door handles and took them off soon after. It wasn't that they wouldn't last, I just hated the feel of plasti dip every time I opened my door. I like the smooth feel of the OEM door handle a lot more.

Why don't you just take it out and paint them? I would rather do that but I don't go the balls to take it apart since I am pretty anal about things when I mess up haha.

The fang area is THE perfect application for PlastiDip. It's rock chip prone, and you can easily do any necessary touch-ups with a small brush and few drops of PlastiDip.
Looks great!
