This is a good idea , although I did multiple coats. By the time I finished my last I would think the bottom layers would dry up a bit. Next time I dip something Ill def try to just hit it hard once and remove the tape while its still wet

I'm gonna be taking some stuff off this weekend and fixing a couple of small issues. ill let you all know how it works.

Also I've found the thicker you put it on, the easier it is to remove.... haven't tried it on a unfinished surface though....
I didn't bother looking on there site. Just did a quick google search. I did put about four coats on it. I just think it has to do with the material I sprayed it on. It held up great though.

How soon do you guys think you can add plasti dip to a surface after it's been painted?

I would wait 30 days for the paint to cure, same as waxing.

the plasti-dip? If i understand you correctly than its the actual plasti dip that dries that turns into a rubbery material. the excess which you can peel off. Or the whole thing if you mess up.
