Alright guys, so I ordered a can of the Clear Plasti-Dip from dipyourcar.com, and used it on the front and rear Nissan emblems in order to give them a brushed look to be closer inline with the 370z emblem, wheels, and handles. I think they turned out pretty good. Pardon for the crappy phone pics. I can take better ones if requested.

Rear with comparison to 370z emblem

Front

They don't quite have the same "sheen" as the rest of the metal, but I think its better than the chrome. I'm thinking about putting a coat of plasti dip glossifier to see if I can perfect the desired effect. In the meantime I'm going to try this on the stock chrome exhaust tips when I have time.

Also, a couple notes if you try this yourself:
This appears to be slightly different from the black plasti dip, in that if you apply to much at a time little white bubbles will appear and it will dry like that. Looks like crap. Be sure to do very light coats. I used the videos from dipyourcar.com, and did the light first coat, four times, and I think they turned out great. I discovered this way after attempting and failing twice on the front and once on the rear. The third and second times were a charm.

dipyourcar.com, who would of thought!

Checked out the sight, it looks like they have plstidip smoke. I think I am going to order some and try to lightly smoke my headlightas and tail lights, if it doesnt look good then I will just peel it off.

I'll save you a few bucks. Looks horrible on the lightss. Its more of a gray smoke as opposed to a black smoke.

That's an obvious difference! I like it! You basically took the glitteriness out! Looks tight.

Yeah I figured it wouldn't work. Thanks for the reassurance!

No problem. I've already wasted my time on it, don't want anyone else to do the same.

For Synack. It's a little dusty from a windy night last night (yes my car has to sleep outside until I can sell some of the big stuff taking up my side of the garage).

And now here's the rest of the stuff I plasti-dipped today. Did the Z emblems and peeled off the area covering the light portion just leaving the Z and outer ring black...

And did the front fangs which turned out ok. Up close the edges didn't do so well and it looks like a poor masking job but it turned out good enough for now. I will eventually switch to a better solution.

And the whole package...
hey how did you do the front fang area? my **** peeled in the corners and it looked ugly =/

Re-dipped my fangs last weekend. Also dipped the side mirrors.
