Maybe to those of us who agree with the 15 grand comment, we don't believe we are driving "just a car". My opinion is that true motorheads take pride in their opinions about cars, be it their own or someone elses car. If you are driving a hoopty....maybe it's just a car...yes, but if you're driving a Z, it becomes more than that. I will say, however, I do agree with you on one point. If you don't like what I've done to my car, tell me, but for all intents and purposes, it's what I like and not what you like. Will I feel better if I get a for my mod...hell yes. Will I feel if I get a on my mods...hell yes. But that's all what this game is about....and if at the end of the day, I'm happy...that's what matters most. Now excuse me, I'moff to ebay to buy a vortex gas saver for my 370z, I've heard you get some good gains off this thing AND you save gas! |

Agreed, although I egged it on!! Sorry guys. To get back on topic, I can happily report that my emblems that I Plastidipped are still looking good....it was 108 here the last two days and the car sat outside all day long, both days....I was expecting some sagging or drooping from the plastic (that's what she said), but all was good....this stuff is good, but once again...I'd rather not spray my rims with the stuff.

How do you remove this stuff? I did my sport spoiler but spray pattern was uneven and looks bad and it's not peeling off in one piece.

I just sprayed my rear windshield with "A7X" because I went to an Avenged Sevenfold show a few days ago and I peeled it off fine last night.

Yeah and if you do this you will want to get some Metal Polish to spray afterwards and it will wipe the WD40 right off.

Easy on, Easy off
Oddly enough, I was trying to touch up the area around the emblems with some adams detail spray, and I noticed the plastidip came off very easily. I am sure an equivilant detailer would strip that stuff just as easy. Just a tip for all the paint sissy's scared of putting harsh chemicals on the surface.
