the thinner also has more application than just removal...... but I'm sure you already knew that too.

I've had plasti dip on the fangs for 6-8 months and not a single chip in it at all. Looks great. My old room mate had his fangs painted and had chips within days.

Has anyone sprayed the license plate area?
I think that will be my next area to spray down.. Tape off the exterior of the license plate area and get the back portion blacked out. I want it to be sort of like this guys, but non CF & a little smaller Evo R front lip and license plate background |

aslo a piec of cardboard or a trash bag behind the fangs is a good idea to block the radiator. in order to get a good color match i had to spray over the entire area. the small residual spray is easily removed with a microfiber cloth and windex or you could use goo gone as mentioned here previously. The product is easily removable so prep work is important but not such a PITA. it took me a while to get comfortable with knowing i can just peel it off if i don't like it....... I mean its like spray paint.... but it isn't ![]() If you are gonna do allot of plasti dip work id recommend you get their thinner from the site. you can use it to repair sections also, rather than removing everything and re applying.

Thanks again for all the tips. The trickiest part was the final touch up but with some qtips and googone you can really smooth out the rough edges.
![]() Might take it off the front emblem and depending on how it holds up I'll do the rear diffuser next. |

Looks great lemon. I have had my diffuser dipped for over a year now and it looks the same as the day I did it.
