New Photos of the Veilside Kit

So Veilside has posted the following pre-order image on their Japanese site for the new 370Z kit.

Just as a reminder, here is the original rendering of the kit:

I'm still not really sure about the design, but I figured it was worth sharing with everybody since it's something new.

wheee! 08-05-2011 02:27 PM

hmmmm. IDK. Looks awkward....

theDreamer 08-05-2011 02:28 PM

Yeeeahh......

shadoquad 08-05-2011 02:42 PM

hmm... I guess it's... unique?

phelan 08-05-2011 02:48 PM

I wish the back didn't look so boxy / bloated. The front...I can live with.

But yeah, they've done better work.

Cmike2780 08-05-2011 02:56 PM

I like everything except the body kit.

Econ 08-05-2011 03:24 PM

yikes

Pelican170 08-05-2011 03:25 PM

Hmmnnn, dont think so...

TypeOne 08-05-2011 03:29 PM

:wtf2:

Econ 08-05-2011 03:41 PM

actually...

i like the spoiler. but not for $1k

Apoc370z 08-05-2011 03:44 PM

It looks ok on the rendering and it is indeed 'unique', but after looking at the more visible lines on the actual kit..:shakes head:

see, this is where taking something potentially good, but isn't.. and making it good and selling it is OK! :bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl:

Thanks for sharing bro!

sexZness 08-05-2011 04:12 PM

the illustration definitely looks better... if they had painted the kit to match the car, maybe we could get a better feel for it

kenchan 08-05-2011 04:16 PM

yah, no....

Unique_Z 08-05-2011 04:44 PM

the sides are unique, but overall..ummm:wtf2:

Jjaden 08-05-2011 04:49 PM

Total Fail....:shakes head:

Isamu 08-05-2011 04:57 PM

I have designed a better kit lol

ZeeingAround 08-05-2011 05:38 PM

I would like to see the kit in a different color. I bet the front would look good all black. The rear bumper reminds me of the 350z Nismo, which looked like a step to help clean the back window, so no, not interested.
The sides might be okay with the right color combo or wrap. Need some more pictures at different angles to get a better idea of how far they stick out.

Nitrouz 08-05-2011 06:36 PM

gross...

eddieconfetti 08-05-2011 06:47 PM

i like the rear but the front and sides.........no comment.

TreeSemdyZee 08-05-2011 06:55 PM

It looks track inspired, but doesn't real work for the street IMO.

No disrespect

A one eyed monkey with a broken crayon could design a better kit...

Oh well, we know what we'll be seeing in F&F 6.

kevr6 08-05-2011 07:34 PM

The finished product is like the Bizzaro world version of the original rendering.
Way to busy. Maybe lose a vent or two.

I personally like where they went with the front fascia, the sides are OK....not really digging the rear fascia or spoiler though.
