I know this sounds like the opposite of most questions, but is it possible to remove the factory navigation unit and install a factory cubby or aftermarket if there is

Default remove factory nav, install factory cubby

I know this sounds like the opposite of most questions, but is it possible to remove the factory navigation unit and install a factory cubby or aftermarket if there is one?

I don't really have a need for the nav, and the cubby seems like it would be functional for me. Plus I would love to sell the nav and get some parts. Any thoughts?
