Is it possible that the driver seat can wear out possibly due to track driving and the high lateral forces resulting from it? My seat seems to have developed a tiny bit of sideways play in it and a small squeaking sound occasionally happens when taking corners. I double checked the bolts that hold it to the car and they're all tight. I think the play is within the seat frame itself. It's barely noticeable except occasionally when making sharp turns.

If you're talking about the cushion itself, you're more likely wear them out going in an out of the car a lot, like a lot of track events.
Depending on the amount of G-force you're pushing on your car, it may be possible. I know when I had my bucket seat on my other car, I decided to make it fixed position because it did again when I had the slider to move forward and back.

You mean the bolts holding the seat to the car, or are there any bolts within the seat itself? I tightened my seat bolts so they shouldn't be the problem. Maybe I should check them again.
