I want to add led lighting behind the reflector in the doors, i have the illuminated kick panels and was wondering if i could just tap into those to feed

Door reflector Led mod
I want to add led lighting behind the reflector in the doors, i have the illuminated kick panels and was wondering if i could just tap into those to feed power to leds in the reflector area or would it have a adverse effect on the kick panels/leds in reflector?
Would really like to avoid running home run lines for such a small mod. Has anyone else done this? (to turn on only when door is opened btw)
