Exclamation Headlight Rubber Isolator Creeping Out

I was detailing our Z today when I noticed that the driver's side headlight rubber isolator is creeping up from below. It was not there the last time I washed the car and appears to be working its way upward and out when the car is moving. This piece keeps the headlight assembly from rubbing adjacent the paint. The only way I see to get back in place to remove the headlight assembly as I've tried to push it down. Are others starting to see this?

yeah i have that too. I looked at the passenger side, and I didn't see a similar rubber isolator. I'm not sure what it is exactly....

It keeps the two parts from rubbing against one another. The problem is that if we keep driving our Z this isolator is going to be on the side of the road somewhere.

Do you have a rubber isolator on your passenger side?

Yes, but they have not crept upwards like the driver's side has, and they remain hidden.

Okay, I finally got it to go back down, but I do not know whether it is the correct place; eventually I will take off the headlight and put everything back where it should be. Use a credit card and carefully, and slowly, push it back it down.
