Review: Carbon Fiber Element Steering wheel and window trim pieces

Hey guys, I was originally on the group buy for the carbon fiber steering wheel. Somehow I never got a Pm advising me that the wheels were ready. All it took was a pm to Tony and he honored the group buy. Having spoke to him for just over 10 min, I could tell he was a good guy and I was so impressed with the overall level of customer service, I purchased a set of carbon fiber window trim pieces as well.

Steering wheel: There were some small areas on the carbon fiber where it looked as if dust had settled either before or after the clear coat. Nothing too big that actually warrants me to be super bummed but im anal and wanted it to be perfect. I pm'd Tony back and sent him some pictures of the examples. He assured me that he would get another wheel right out to me as soon as he could build it. All I had to do was return the oem core and the "loaner" one he sent me once I get the new one. This seriously is the way business should be done and I think it deserves to be heard. The stiching on the leather is better than oem. Almost too perfect. I dont know how Tony does it but man that takes patience. Everything else is perfect on the wheel and as other reviewers have said, I like holding the carbon fiber now more than the leather on the sides. The carbon fiber looks so clean and shiny, everyone at my work is jealous (all the dudes at least)

Window pieces: Perfect! All I need to say.

Tony you got a new return customer in me. Thanks for making everything so painless and easy.

Ugh, thanks PJ. I now have some more things on my to-do list....*

Looks great man! We should meet up again sometime soon, I want to buy the door panel switch panels too and would love to see how it looks in person.

Thanks Christian. Ya man let me know when youre free I am interested in seeing how that carbon fiber sport spoiler looks on your car too. The window inserts are perfect man. Like they were meant for the car. They look incredible.

Now just get those door handles done!

Did you remove/install the wheel yourself, or have a shop/dealer do it? I'm wondering how complicated this process is in the event I decide to do this myself one day...

Looks great!

Will do for sure, I am set to have it installed Tuesday so we could go to Cars and Coffee next Saturday if you want something to do at 7am Sat. morning. ;)

Originally I paid someone to do it, but I've heard it's pretty easy if you have the right tools. It took the dealer about 15 min. They used the DIY that mr. and mrs. provided. From what Tony says it's super easy.

Do those door switch panels just pop right off and right back on?

Haha, I know man. I was scheduled for today but apparently they messed up the appointment and put it on for next Tuesday at 8am instead of today at 8am lol. I want to have it installed so badly!

Ya you need to have a pry tool sharp enough to get under it then it pops right off. Once it's off you unplug the wires and pop off the button assembly from the windown trim panel. Super easy took 2 min a side.
