Wrapping a car....yourself?

I've been viewing videos on youtube lately, it seems as if wrapping a car is not as difficult as I once thought? All it looks like it would take is patience.

Is there any hidden techniques required that would make this job worth thousands of dollars?

material and labor cost. it may not seem that difficult but to get it perfect takes skill.

From videos that I have seen, you can redo it? Meaning you can peel it off and make sure you get it right.

Nothing patience can't fix? The material is not expensive at all.

you wont be able to do the curves as some expert will do, even if you stick it, there will be peeling a few days later. You would need to install cut pieces on major curves which will be difficult for you.

Can you describe im greater detail what "cut" pieces are? Your car looked amazing back when it was matte grey. Which brand did you go with?

I'm sure experts started from somewhere too, I'm willing to give this a go if it is something that would be possible to do given enough time.

ok lets just take an example of amuse rear bumper there are some vents there. If you apply the wrap you can cover everything and push the wrap with heatgun and would be happy but then those tight curves will get loose in next few days and you have to make a piece of size of the curve and reapply it then, its hard to see from few ft but then there are pieces.

If you see my car each bumper was done in 4-6 pieces, its just the doors/roof/hood/hatch which you can do in single piece.

I used 3m Scothprint wrap

So for something like this:

There is actually a couple pieces where the taillights are? I can't even see it. If it is that unnoticeable then you are correct, it does seem like a difficult job.
