Default Wider front fenders

I've seen advertising for several brands of replacement carbon fiber front fenders. Particularly seibon I saw was 10mm wider.

Can anyone confirm where this width is located? Is it a rolled lip? Could I use this to attain extra wheel space for wider tires?

Are the other brands wider as well?

How wide do you want to go? I run a 315 race tire up front without any issue. The trick is just finding the correct offset and running enough camber.

I understand my alternatives for additional clearance. I am weighing additional options.

I clear now, I want to gain additional clearance without altering camber or decreasing tire size. I run a 265 up front with a 22 offset.
I was considering cf fenders anyhow so I'm just trying to find out where the 10mm comes into play.

But I am interested in info on your 315 setup if you care to share. I think you mentioned before you run a 3.something degree negative. What's your offset, wheel size, brand of tire?

The stock fenders have the lip for strength, I would imagine that CF fenders are rolled by design. The wheels are Forgestar 18x10 ET+37 with 5mm spacer. The 5mm spacer was necessary to prevent inside rub under tire flex, so the ideal fitment (for maximum tire size) would be a +30 offset. I'm confident that a 18x10.5 or 18x11 would also work at that offset and I may try that at some point. Camber is -3.5 degrees.

We have a new fender coming out this year that will be 25mm wider than stock. We already started on the prototype a week ago

they will be a true wide fender which will come with our adapter plate for the front bumper. The fender is being modeled after the J's Racing s2000 wide fender concept.
