I was toying with the idea of adding the OEM GT-R vents to a stock hood, but I'm not brave enough

Here is what it looks like on a G35

I REALLY like that, pretty much exactly what I am looking for. I wonder if my body guy is good enough to do it, if not I wonder what it would cost to have done, and if someone on the forums could/would do it...

You just need a good cutting tool (dremel-type) and maybe some silicone and it's straightforward from there.

If my car wasn't my daily driver I would have cut my own vents a long time ago but I'm just not a fan of all the dirt in the engine bay that a cut hood causes for DD'ing

^^ very good point. I have had vented hoods on both my Zs. My 350z is barely driven so no problem. My 370z is not a DD by any means at all, but even with every single other factory panel in place (all the underbody ones and liners etc etc), my engine bay is pretttty damn dirty. no rust or anything, but it doesnt look all minty fresh like a new car

Naca Ducts ftw.
Thats pretty much the only body work mod I am considering except for repainting the whole car thanks to the crappy paint nissan put on our otherwise wonderful cars.
