3 Gauges Silver Circle Replacement. Need Help

Hi guys,

I recently took the 3 silver circles around the voltage, clock and temperature indicator off and painted them the same color as my car.

2 of them came out completely perfect but someone in my family walked on the third one I had left to dry after the 4th clear coat.

I am so mad, it is dented and I have no idea where I can buy a new one. I've searched online without success anyone here can help?

Thanks,

I'd actually like to see how the paintjob turned out

I'll post pics soon. It turned out better than I expected. I used automotive paint and automotive clear coat, it's as good as the car's paint.

My plan is to do that on the silver pieces for the vent in the door as well as the door handles inside the car.

The picture is not great because I left my camera at work and there is no natural light but it gives you an idea. Keep in mind I put them on the hood with sunlight and the paint color as well as the gloss is the exact same.

I'll make better ones once all three are done, installed and the hats are put back on.

Note: The blue tape in the back is because I did not want dust to go into the glass as without the hats there is an opening.

How did you get the hats off?

It was a pain but once you know how to, it is easy.

You have to use a flat screw driver and insert it on the side about where the mark is for max voltage. Something will pop then pop on the other side and then the back side comes off easy.
