I agree with you about ings. But that cost is purdy high. Thats why i was searching for perhaps an alternative. Ive been looking quite a bit at whats available for the lotus cars

i feel like you need some serious HP/track orientation to back up any of the above spoilers.

on a side note i really want the LP670 wing, but its like 15k

the only time i would consider such GT wing is if im hitting the track like Mike. on his car outfitted with track gear it looks good and well balanced.

GT wings on street cars... imho, it's too big, over done, too rice.

I think the aerodynamic properties of this wing make it an acceptable candidate for hauling rice

Is this for show or are you actualy needing an adjustable wing because you are tracking your car at so many diffrent tracks?

well my thoughts are this.

i like the INGS because it isnt so huge. But it still functional. It also looks good on the car.

I do not plan to track my car extensively, but once its all said and done i do plan to track it maybe 3 times a year on average. Mountain drives I dont think necessarily warrant one so im not gonna really count those.

On the same thinking, its why i was looking at the Lotus wings. they arent as big or wide, and they curve a bit more which would follow the z body lines better (in theory, until i could try to line them up).

its not a necessity, but just something in consideration.

daisuke- it's up to you but 3x a year is hardly any track time... and what kind of speeds are you seeing at this track? chances are your stock wing will work just as well...(?)

so it will be only for appearance. it's your car so you do wat you want but from a performance stand point it's overkill. i would work on your suspension and tire setup instead especially since you can get regular mountain driving time every weekend.

full suspension is on.. EDIT: i wont be tracking on the forged specialties. But have arrangements for track wheels/tires when absolutely needed.

one main reason for consideration is looks. With the stance that the wide wheels/tires have, and the tinted tails, black valance, the oem sport spoiler just doesnt cut it anymore. so im already looking at a replacement spoiler and thus considering all options.

But then if I can find something that is functional vs pure looks why not. Even if it helps me out 3 times a year why not if it can also look good. But thats the trouble.. finding something that i absolutely love. So far, thats a no : /

damn sounds like you got a serious machine.

yah, if your car's theme is for tracking i think the GT wing will finish the look.
