I've asked this before. My understanding is you just apply heat and peel.

The idea of putting a semi permanent vinyl over top paint to protect paint that will never see sunlight because it's under vinyl is the most retarded thing in the world in my head.

You can buff/touchup/repaint chips easily. But when the clearbra gets nicks in it it looks way worse and is uncorrectable
