Visor Sticker Removal?
 

Has anyone managed to remove the warning stickers on the visors? They seem to be on there pretty good..

They are also quite ugly

You got that right. At least in my wife's car, they are on the opposite side, hidden when the visors are up. I picked at them a little, no luck. Thinking of getting some matching fabric, cover them up.

I think most people are bothered by this, but whatcha gonna do? You technically can get them off by using an iron and a paper bag (some people claim steam works, but I dunno where the **** they are getting these high powered portable steamers from), but in the end, even if you get it off, you will have a sticky square there FOREVER that will do nothing but attract dirt and other floaties. I've seen plenty of pictures of ruined visors from this, so it's not just my opinion.

Or, you can have visors reupholstered. I don't know if any Z people have done this, but on the vette forum a few people did this. They got matching leather. It looked pretty sharp, but obviously a good amount of money just to get rid of a sticker.

Yeah, I took the stickers off my Mazda6 back when I first bought it, and there's a discolored square there now, so I decided against it on the Z. But I may cover it up, because quite frankly, it's hideous and doesn't need to be there. It's like that little "Warning: Coffee Is Hot" message on foam coffee cups.

If we would stop rewarding idiots with frivolous lawsuits, we wouldn't be in a situation where lawnmowers have to have "deadman switches" and stickers to try and keep people from sticking their hands into moving blades.

I, for one, have no interest in trying to prevent idiots from killing themselves. It's not good for the species.

Could you just take the visor out of the car, mask off the label, spray paint (or spray dye) a matching color over the label, then re-install the visor in the car?

Made a simple leather sleeve that slips over visor. Elastic bands on back hold tight. Looks factory- matches interior. Not noticeable all black Can remove/ slips off if needed

The mistake in your logic is assuming that everyone has the same opinion of what's ugly (or not) as you. For example, I don't think the "butthole" (foglight) is ugly, but some people find it horrendous. As hard as this may to to believe for you, some people do not like how it looks ... deal with it.
