REAR LICENSE PLATE MOUNT - Easy DIY
Hello, Just want to post a pic of some hardware I found that makes mounting the rear plate even with a frame painless.
---- Go to you local Lowe's and pickup the listed hardware. It can all be found in those "Specialty Drawers" by the Nuts and Bolts Section. 1. when you remove your plate you will notice 2 round holes and 2 square ones. 2. attach the Extruded U-Nut Clip to the left and right circles with the mound/threaded end on the inside of the bumper so the plate can mount flush. 3. take you plate with or without a frame and prior to putting the 2 bolts through place the Black Hinged Caps infront. 4. Tighten down and snap caps of bolt heads, done, easy and looking good. Last edited by Mwagner07; 05-24-2011 at 10:31 PM. |
