im not a huge fan of flat black nor sanding down a new cars paint, on a old worthless car maybe but on a 370z never

I know it can go a long way but there aren't any tenants living in the places adjacent to mine. The other cars you see in the background were friends of mine and nothing got on theirs so I highly doubt it was retaliation for overspray.

Personally, I would have wrapped it. There are places where I live that will wrap the Z for about 2k or paint for 5-6k.

Kudos to you for trying something different, however since the Z is not a Honda I would have taken a few steps to make sure it's sprayed in a sanitary environment and prepped the hell out of it.

I'd like to see some up-close pics.

We did an intense amount of prep work and wet sanding etc.
