Just saying. Donuts in the mud, spray painting a car you just spent 30k on. Now posting pictures of it and telling people if you dont like it dont post? You crack me up.

Pretty much yeah. I'm glad I could give you a laugh. I do what I want when I want and how I want and live my life to the fullest. If something sounds like fun I go ahead and do it. For instance: Donuts in the clay/mud - What is the worst that is going to happen here? I maybe break something and spend a little money fixing it but had fun in the process? I have to wash it for a long time to get it clean then its like it never happened (what ended up happening)? What is the big deal? I can say I did it and I wasn't disappointed with either of the two incidents you listed. The donuts... nothing happened other than the car got dirty... the paint... everyone that sees it loves it. Don't get me wrong, I love my z, its the 6th one I have owned... but its not like I am taking a GT-3 and doing this... its a pretty cheap sports car that wouldn't be too hard to fix that I don't ever plan on getting rid of.

Actually, I've bit my lip about this in the past, but I never really understood the angst that other people had about mudding the Z. It looked like fun to me, too.

And it may not be for everyone, but it's cool that you did a large-scale project on the Z like this. It may speed up the depreciation, but it's your car, it's your money.

ill keep my comments to myself, but i can see this thread getting locked. I like the matte color, but im with chris on the tail lights, makes it look cheap. IMO.

from the pics, i like it. though i would be nervous to how it looks in person. but if you say it looks good then ill take your word for it. as far as i can tell from the pics, i think it looks good too. Post more pics

I like it, and if you ever have to touch it up, the matte paints don't need any blending, just shoot the spot.

Noticed your RIVRON 3 in your sig. When I was in MOS school in Little Creek my headmate was in RIVRON 1. You guys still get all the high speed low drag stuff before pretty much everyone else?

II MEF. I'm USMC but my MOS school is on little creek and my headmate was with rivron and he was cool as all hell. Used to let us use his jeep because we weren't allowed to have POV's in school lol

I can't remember lol it was almost 6 years ago. I promise you didn't run across me if you were down here because I never leave where I work and I am essentially in a vault all the time. Our MOS school is up there because EWTGLANT is there. I am a war planner there are only like 350 of us in the entire Corps

Not really a big fan of the primer look.... and to do this to a $30k sports car takes some massive cajones. At the end of the day, its your car to do with as you wish.

I just don't see how I could personally justify spray painting a fairly new car to save a few bucks. If you can consider $30k cheap sports car, $3k for a wrap should be a drop in the bucket for you.... plus you could always take it off. You could have also wrapped it yourself.

I dunno. It may look better in person. Just my $0.02.
