Thingys To Hold The Hood Up...
...I don't even know what they are called...
So, they are those things you mount on the engine bay and hood that are spring loaded and hold the hood up without needing to place the bar. Is there a good reputable pair for the 370. A set that holds all that weight up and doesn't wear out after a year? (thanks)

There were, but I think the issue with the 370 is that the aluminum hood is too fragile to support itself on a pair of dampers. You can easily bend the hood.

I know that was a fear someone brought up. But has anyone really bent their hood using dampers?

Yeah the hood, front fenders, and doors are all aluminum.

I just lower it down to about 12-18in and let it go and it latches but it not too high that I will damage it.

Surprising (well, to me...). The only car I ever knew that had a lot of aluminum in the body was the older Mercedes. (not that I'm a walking encyclopedia of car knowledge...after all, I couldn't even think of what a hood damper was called...)
