metz- the hot-temp hotmelts melts at over 190C... it can easily withstand automotive operating environments of -40C to +85C. even the low-temp glue gun materials can be used in -40C

kenchan A True Z Fanatic Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: N/A Posts: 76,801 Drives: N/A Rep Power: 141521	metz- the hot-temp hotmelts melts at over 190C... it can easily withstand automotive operating environments of -40C to +85C. even the low-temp glue gun materials can be used in -40C to +80C without issue... this is why i use glue guns in some of my interior installs with no issue. ive started relying more and more on 3M VHB type adhesives though..(mounting tape) as it's less of a mess, easier to control, no hotgun to worry about inside or near the car, and can also withstand automotive temps.
