Help! Huge chip
So I noticed today that I have a huge chip on my hood. Weird thing is that the chip is pretty small, but there is a much larger portion where the paint (any maybe clear coat) is gone, but the surface is smooth. No idea what happened. Totally makes me sick to my stomach. Question is -- is there any change that this can potentially be fixed with touch up paint, or am I looking at having to get my entire hood painted for this? My friend seems to think touch up paint would not work. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
