Going to get tint done tomorrow. I'm thinking 35% on sides and 5% on the back. Eventually I want to vinyl wrap the roof so I want the top of the car to look like one solid piece.

My question is, do you think the 35% will look off compared to the 5% in the back+gloss vinyl wrapped roof?

Will that "cure" out or is there an optically superior film I could use? It's not bad, just noticeable.

I guess another option is to put in factory tinted glass. I saw a tinted hatch on the 2012 nismo the other day at the dealer.
Wavy is normal when you just finished tinting. After it gets dried out(maybe 5 days depends on the temperature) the wavy thing should be gone.

It's funny that almost all the 35% tint pix posted here look much darker than what it really is. Maybe it depends on the light and angle.

Just got 15% all around today. It's pretty dark, but during the day, you can just make out the outline of a person and the interior looking at it from the rear. At night, it looks like limo tint. Windows down or interior lights on when driving around the 5-0!
