A smart cop (which you will probably never run into) would know that the factory windows don't provide 100% light transmittance stock. So even with with 95% light transmittance, your "70%" tint cuts it down to 66.5%, which is a no go. Plus I seriously doubt any cop will take a look at your receipt and let you go on your way. They'll probably cut you a ticket and tell you to take it up with the judge. Also in some states cops carry a light meter that measures the transmittance on the spot.
