I don't think it's a problem, because there are a few Zs in Memphis that have tint (50%, I think) on their front windshield. The shop that did mine said they could put it on, but I passed.

I got 70% on my windshield. 100% doable.

Got street legal tint for VA from Bay Custom Tinting out of Newport News, VA. 30 on the sides and 50 in the back. More than happy with the results.Attachment 112391

Where in MN? I'd also like to go 20 but am skeptical with the law being 50.

wish there was a consistent way to rid those dotted line where they end up light in color. i noticed this on my G's tint too when i had it done.

I have a medical exemption, but I travel through and around Minneapolis, St Paul and the north burbs. Been pulled over multiple times in my other vehicle also with 20%, mostly by state patrol but a few times by local cops. No tickets though once they pull up and verify the exemption (and measure the tint for whatever reason), but they seem to pay attention and try and get people for it.

Great reference, thanks. Dropping mine off for tint this morning. 30 back and quarters and 38 on the doors just so it looks a bit more "factory". I'll edit with a pic at the end of the day

5% on rear, and sides. With a 5% strip on the front.

Just legal here. 35% sides and windshield strip, 20% back window. Just got it done a couple days ago, so still bubbly. LOL

How is the visibility with the window visor. I had my tint guy put a 5% window visor on my car equal with where the bottom of the rear view mirror mount is and had him take it off because visibility sucked. I was thinking about maybe raising it up to the bottom of the dotted lines?

so i got mine done today and took it out for a photoshoot

Full Windshield - 20% > cant complain, the visibility is not that bad at all at night
Doors - 20% > Perfect setup

so im from NJ and tints law here is that u cant have anything on your front windows but i was able to get a permit from MVC so i can put them on due to my skin condition which allowed me to tint my windshield LEGALLY . MUAHAHAH
