Help if you have amuse front bumper!
All I have left is to put the front half of my wheel wells in the car to be done, but I cant get them in. It clearly looks like the Amuse front bumper is higher then the stock bumper. Can someone please post me a pic of what it looks like, and tell me if it needed cut, and does it tuck in or out? Thanks +rep for help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't notice anything of that sort, its higher from here headlight area, sides? as it fits nicely without any cutting and should not sit higher maybe there is restriction which you need to remove?
Any pictures would help I just have this picture of my bumper before paint but after test fitment, I dont remember any cutting but there was lot of hole drilling which was done And this after paint |

Thanks doc but I needed pics of inside the wheel wells. I ended up cutting off a good chunk from the bottom so it would fit.

There is a metal factory bracket riveted at the bottom of the fender well that needs to be removed. That should fix your problem. The bottom end of the liner will sit on the outside of the kit, thats why there is a grove there. I can take pics tmro if you need to see how it sits hope it helps.

make sure the part that protrudes out that goes in the condenser area is lining up... the first time i tried to put on the bumper it was doing what you said it was doing.... the bumepr looked higher than the rest of the car... i was frustrated as hell i even scratched my lights..... the next morning i saw that the part that goes in the condensor area was not aligned... right when i lined it up it just fit into place..... try it out bro hope this helps

Thanks this is exactly what I was talking about, I thought maybe I was not putting it back correctly. I didnt think about removing the triangle shaped piece I just hacked it off with a dremel lol.

Bringing this back from the dead.. could anyone please post pictures of what exactly needs to be trimmed? Or at least can someone confirm that if you trim the factory metal bracket, everything will fit fine without actually trimming the fender liner its self. Thanks in advance!

Rising from the dead once again:
Does the bumper need to be removed for an oil change since access appears to be covered? Also, do you need to drill holes underneath to mount? I don't see any in the pic. |

Cooltoy is correct there is already an opening but you would have to have a childs hand to fit comfortably. Most people just I large it with a dremel.

I always remove it when changing oil. Its like a couple bolts and clips on the top. Takes all of 5 minutes to pop off. I have to because my oil filter is relocated with the SC kit.

I also remove my bumper. After doing it a few times I can remove the bumper easily now.
