Default Side skirts color match issue

So i just purchased a used 2009 370z Pearl White... i took it home and about 2 weeks later i noticed that the side skirts are a whiter white then the rest of the car... except that the mud flaps match the car. I took it to my local nissan (not where i bought the car) and they inspected and said they would get back to me later today but the guy was really nice and said that i will most likely be covered wether its nissan or the dealership i purchased from paying for it. Im hoping all goes well.. anyone else have simular issue?

It's an artifact of the skirts being ABS while the doors, hood, fenders, etc, are metal.

It shouldn't be too "off" but look at other white 350s/370s- it's more obvious on some colors (especially white) than others.

I have a PW as well and mine are the same way. If you look at the front and back bumpers they are slightly off too but its seems more noticeable on the rockers. It drives me nuts but i deal

On my PW the front an rear bumpers were a little off (whiter shade) since purchased. Since I had them repainted because of minor scuffs they are somewhat now off and have a denser clear coat than the rest of the car. Pearl White metallic particles don't seem equally as dense on non metallic surfaces, I was told they magnetize metallic surfaces while applying the metallic coat. My rocker panels seem to be a shade darker or more yellow thrown into the mix, i have seen this on most stock PW 370z, so it doesn't bother me that much.

i had the opposite problem. my bumpers and side skirts were yellowish compared to the rest of the car. Nissan painted under warranty. now they are slightly whiter. Although its alot closer now. Before you could tell they were off from faaaar away and in almost any light.

Mine is like that too, but it is mostly noticeable under fluorescent lighting. The most likely reason is that the ABS plastic was never hit with a primer coat before being painted, so the color is a little off compared to the primed and painted metal panels.
