Rear Camera Install
Just got the Rear Camera hooked up to my Kenwood DDX418 Head Unit.
Figured I'd post pics because I'm really happy with how it came out :) Can you see it? http://www.the370z.com/members/adobe...-20-41-414.jpg Here's a Closer Look http://www.the370z.com/members/adobe...ll-closeup.jpg Wires are run through the trunk panels, then through the kick plates up into behind the dash. honestly, that little nook in the back is absolutely perfect for the back-up cam. Here's the HU http://www.the370z.com/members/adobe...it-install.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/adobe...it-install.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/adobe...t-no-flash.jpg And the Baby :) http://www.the370z.com/members/adobe...indow-tint.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/adobe...h-so-clean.jpg |

What camera do you have? Is the square that shows all camera or did you fabricate a mount?

It didn't look right showing all the camera, due to the odd shaped corners, so the portion of plastic that was cut out of that bezel piece from the Z, was painted matte black, and glued to the camera face, only exposing the lens of the camera. A permanent marker pen was then used on the cut out edges of the painted piece mounted to the camera. it was then fastened to mounts installed on the back end. It's solid, you could kick it and it's not moving. |
hey OP- your rear view camera seems fine, but you need a better camera to take picts. :D ;)
