This is a nice looking kit and definately like the Red and Black CF. In regard to the guage covers, can they be made to wrap around the guage a little more so that they actually touch the dash? They end kind of high and they look like an add-on with the big space between the edge of the cover and the dash. The other pieces look clean and like they are OEM parts. If you can wrap them around the guage more, I will purchase a kit.

The tachometer? I lifted up the cover. It just snaps up, you don't have to remove it all the way.
You will see two screws holding in the plastic tachometer face. Screw them out partially with a phillips head, then use your hand so they don't drop down. Then just pull the face out towards you (it'll snap out), then up from behind the steering wheel. If you don't you could snap the small plastic pieces on the back of it. After you attach the CF piece slide it back in place from the bottom. Then screw it back on, and snap the cover back in place. The hardest part was getting the gear cover to fit. Actually it doesn't fit all the way for me for some reason. But I made it work. |

That's a little disappointing considering what it costs. I ordered mine yesterday. Can you explain how "you made it work"? Your install tips are MOST appreciated! Thanks, Mike

For the tachmeter bezel its same as what bx_superior said, you need to open two screws and then tachmeter bezel can be taken out first from top then bottom. Its a very little part which is behind the steering cover, sometime it seems it will break but it wont. We dont have a car else we could have done some video, but for anyone if they want us to go through with them over the installation just pm me your cell number and we can call and go over it with you All pieces are easy to install and only thing which has slightly difficulty rating is tachometer bezel and manual gear shifter and that also because of the tight space they have. I would rate them 3/10 in difficulty. For manual shifter silver trim needs to be taken out, which is easy as there is no clip holding them Then just install it over the silver trim and then comes the main part of putting that back it. Difficult points are top and bottom, we prefered to insert first bottom one then the top one, a used credit card helps a lot to push this CF in. One other good thing if you want guys want to do is you can just remove the silver bezel and put our CF bezel in its place, it fits nicely as in the pictures below, there is no factory silver bezel in any of the pictures.
