Default wet sand before clearbra

Hey guys,

So my front bumper is starting to look like crap. There are several rock chips/scratches on my front bumper.

Do you think its advisable to get the front bumper wet sanded before the clear bra application? How much does this usually cost?

I also have a few scratches that im not worried about since they would have to respray the bumper to get rid of.

I can take pics if that would help

no, dont' wet sand it.

to do it right, get the bumper repaired and repainted, give a good 3wks for the paint to fully cure, then apply clearbra.

Some of the higher-end detailers will do all this for you, and install or have an installer they work with apply the clear bra. I would not be sanding any finish on this Z unless you are experienced with touching-up rock chips and how to safely bring down the touchup paint to match existing paint levels.
