Was really stoked on the STATUS seats, but not sure how well their version of tan would match my tan interior. May have to just go black, problem with that is I only plan on getting, and only want, one bucket. I know that goes against the show car mentality but Im not buying a seat to be pretty :) Functionality FTW

Desicions......Desicions....

couldn't agree more...and they feel like it too. I had the pleasure of sitting in his car at the last Coffee and Cars meet.

I want...

this question is for people with red seat... how fast does your red seats get dirrt??

Volk Z 01-24-2012 03:11 PM

I had Corbeau FX1 pro in my 350Z.... After about an hour of driving my A$$ was killing me...

I have no problem spending the money but would the Bride or Status fixed back seat have any better cushioning? My wife hated the seats as well for long drives.

I need a small seat so the Status Ring or Bride Zeta III i like the best...

im getting a bucket and planning on using my stock seatbelt, but there's no way to mount the lock for the seatbelt. im getting a harness and harness bar eventually but not at the moment. any suggestions?

I can tell you first hand you sure can use your stock seat belt... It unbolts off the stock seat and I can tell you the buddy club sliders and corbeau have a welded on piece that the stock seat belt bolts onto.

I rocked my stock seat belts so your good to go with those slider brackets. And I am 99 percent sure the bride, nagisa and sparco brackets have welded on mounts for the stock seat belt.

Hope that helps brotha!

I have Bride rails, and yes, the tab is is there to bolt your stock seat belt to them.

Just an FYI be weary of which brackets you get! My corbeau brackets put my head close to the roof and i am 5'8!!

The buddy club rails put me back down to stock maybe a hair lower, the nagisa will do the same and put it lower as they are both side mount brackets.

Bride makes a rail that sits a little lower im not sure the height compared to stock....

Good luck man

I put the seat in without a bracket just to see the height, it was pretty comfortable. I hope the bracket doesn't add too much to it. Idk the brand of that bucket im going to get, but it's the lightest I could find.

If you go with a wedge engineering or corbeau bracket/slider that goes underneath the seat be ready to be sitting on a highchair... if You dont get side mounted brackets for the seat its going to be high...

I think the Bride Lo-max with the low bracket would be one of the few exceptions to this rule.

Good luck... I hope you didnt go to cheap with the seats... No name brands are not worth the extra cash savings...
