Although, I tend to turn it off and let them get the speed after I slow down, especially since I relocated to Utah, and they're technically illegal here. |

I'm honestly a bit on the fence about the LI though, reason being is that most of the benchmark testing the GOL did, used the high powered models, which had 2 diodes per head. the regular only has 1. I'm still thinking that's better than LED's, which is what the blinders and the escorts use; but I never EVER had a problem with my blinders. I had those for about 4 years, drove cross country, parked and drove in rain / snow / and the humid florida heat; and I've never had a ticket since their install (averaged about 2 a year before getting them) Funny thing is, is that last christmas I flew back down to FL to visit the folks, rented a dodge charger, and I got a $250 Laser Ticket on Keystone when I was down for only 2 weeks lol. The cops aren't nearly as bad in Utah as they are in FL though. I've only been tagged with laser twice in 2 years, and they don't pull the shady tactics like the Florida cops do... (like sitting right over a hill where the speed limit magically drops from 55 to 30 on a 3 lane road. |

mine is integrated into my escort 8500 and the display reads 'shifting front' or 'shifting rear'. you still need a radar detector, because not all police use laser.

The Laser Interceptors don't have any visual alerts, but over the speakers you get a voice notification that even tells you what type of laser gun is tagging you. |

I thought GOL also tested the regular version too?
I have an LI quad on my explorer and it gets JTG/JFG everytime. On the Z my mounting is off so I get punch throughs around 500feet or so in the front and rear. I need to work on that. |
