Interior shop in the southeast?

I'm looking for a shop that can do some interior work for me. I'm located in North Alabama. But I travel down around Atlanta, GA to get car work done at Z1 Motorsports. So does anyone suggest a shop around these areas?

What type of work. May help us identify best place to go

well you can always do a carbon fiber interior through carbonfiberelement.com but you have to ship your parts and we cover shipping cost when returning parts to you. Something to think about.. :) or fiberglass so you can paint it the same color as your exterior.

I'm going to do some carbon fiber, but I plan to do that myself. But what I would like done is to have the center console, the center cubby door, wrapped in a carbon fiber like vinyl that I have. With red sticking like the factory parts. Also need a e-brake boot and shifter boot made out of the same stuff.

you should do red kevlar... looks like carbon fiber but Red and white pattern rather than the black/white appearance. Differently post pictures when you get it done, would love to see a bit of red mixed into the interior of your nismo.... If your ever interested in our service feel free to contact us anytime. We also do kevlar but seems like you got it ;)

The only things I think will give me problems are the sections in the steering wheel and the big door panel that comes cloth stock.

Carbon_z 03-26-2011 08:21 PM

yea they are a bit difficult... but we have done a good amount of them. The door inserts come right off once the panel is removed. On the back of the panel, the insert is held by 20 screws that need to be removed. once removed it pops right out. The steering wheel is a bit harder but hopefully that helps ya out.

I think I'm going to buy spares and try it out. If it becomes to much of a headache could I ship yall the parts and carbon fiber I want to use or would you have to order the carbon fiber like I have?

Carbon_z 03-26-2011 08:35 PM

well depends on what kind your looking for. We can wrap in carbon fiber, kevlar or fiberglass if you were interested in painting.

We have some Kevlar in stock and plenty of carbon fiber but depending on the twill you have we may have to order or we may use the same.

Also we offer a glossy or matte clear finish, just something for you to know. The spares are expensive unless your getting them used or 2nd hand. If we had your inserts you can still place the panel back on the door and only difference would be the removal of your inserts but everything would still work. Takes about 2-3 weeks between you shipping them to us and for you to have them back in your car.

Check out our site for some kevlar pictures also.... Carbon Fiber Element We did a few engine covers, sills and other misc parts.

also here are some pictures that were taken at the southeast MEGA meet "thanks to cereal2k"... I see you were there also but not sure if you checked out the interior in my car.
