I love the looks of this shift knob. I think I'll get one for my 370z. Where did everyone get theirs? Sorry for thread-jacking

I got the knob from my local dealer.... you can get it anywhere. Even our sponsors on here have them.

And yes, it rocks.

Does anyone have the cf nismo knob? With a carbonsignal cf gear shift cover I would imagine these two products would look great with each other

Np on the how-to... I figurd I would try to help out someone else with my DIY... Let me know how that turns out. I got the Ti because I liked the look of it with the brushed nickel in the interior of our Z's.

I just got the Nismo CF knob but haven't installed it because I need the strap wrench. I guess I'll be stopping by home depot on the way home!

I'm so undecided between the black knob and the TI/Brushed knob. I guess my touring interior is throwing me off a bit.

if i was going to do a black knob id get the delrin one (matte-black) from passwordjdm and get a titanium ring for the bottom where it meets the boot.

Ken, you HAVE to post pics of your install and results! I am curious to see how easy the install went for you I hope you like the looks (and fee) of the Ti knob once you get it installed... I just LOVE mine.

nynhex, I would go with the Ti personally. I looked at the CF and black knobs closely, and it didn't give that "feel" and "look" I was going for. It might be right for some modded Z's... but for mine, I wanted it tasteful, yet sporty and aggressive looking, you know? The Ti makes it look stock, but in a sporty kind of way..... like it was "meant" to be there. (same with my exhaust, but that's a diff't story )

Thanks G2Z, that's sort of the look I'm going for. "Factory sporty" lol. Most of the mods I'm doing on my Z will be very subtle and really just there for my amusement. I'm not trying to slap on every little part I see. Thanks for the advice, just need to figure out which vendor to buy from.

!!

Also, as I'm guessing you're a cf fan like me, check out putting either a fake cf wrap or real cf cover for the alluminum gear shift cover thing.
