Windshield Wipers

Well it was time for some new wipers for the Z. To my amazement the driver's side and passenger's side wipers are two different sizes. First car I've ever had like this. Wound up buying some Bosch Icons. Install was quick and fast. No more chatter.:excited:

I used the rainx wipers on my last car and I will never use them again. They did a very poor job of wiping water away and the incesantly squeaked as they wiped across the window. I'm surprised people don't like the stock wipers I think theyre great and do a bang up job.

the stock wipers do just fine.

just keep the glass clean. RainX (spray) actually works great as a cleaner too for the exterior side of the glass if your glass has a lot of stains and smears.

there must have been a bad batch from nissan cause my wiper do a bang up job of smearing lol

hummm... that sucks. try some RainX on the glass and see if it helps unless you already got new wiper refills.

Might as well take the wipers off. I've heard that some Z's melt if they get wet.:hello:

I really should. I refuse to even use the windshield wiper fluid to clean bugs and stuff off because it leaves blue streaks on the pearl white paint :icon17:

Haha, same here. I avoid using wiper fluid at all costs, I would sooner just use a MF and some QD to clean the windshield off prior to driving or at stops along the way.

dont you guys get pissed when you're driving around in your spotless car and the POS junk in front of you starts using it's washer fluid in very liberal amounts? :D

Well, if you don't like using them on your car, why don't you just flip 'em around and fill the reservoir with dirty water. Then when that POS nails your freshly cleaned ride with over-spray, you can just dirty up their rear windshield at the next stop sign or stop light. :icon17:
